History of The Game
The event was developed and is maintained by The SPORT Clinic with proceeds benefiting the many youth programs of The SPORT Foundation, a nonprofit organization that helps plan and conduct the game. Over the past 23 years, the game has awarded more than $100,000.00 in Scholarships to high school individuals.
This year’s initial player meeting for game participants and their coaching staff was held on Thursday, December 4th at Game Works in Ontario. At this meeting, game rules, practice schedules, practice times and sites were discussed in detail. Practices will begin on Saturday, January 3rd and continue weeknights all the way through Friday January 9th. The Riverside County All-Star team will conduct their practices at Rancho Verde High School located in the city of Moreno Valley. The San Bernardino County All-Star team will practice at Los Osos High School located in the city of Rancho Cucamonga.
At the Football Classic there will be a series of pre-game and post-game activities planned that will include a halftime show with the award winning band from Los Osos High School as well as all-star cheerleaders. Tickets are $10 for adults and $6 for students and are available at The SPORT Clinic or by calling 951-274-3455.
